The founder of Stoughton Trailers, Donald Wahlin, has been recognized with the 2025 Distinguished Achievement Award by the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Engineering.

From his early days engineering truck bodies to founding Stoughton Trailers in 1961 and growing it into a top-10 global semi-trailer manufacturer, Don’s story has been one of innovation, resilience, and dedication.
