Barrett Trailers Upgrades All Welding Equipment

July 14, 2016

Barrett Trailers, LLC, an industry leader in gooseneck livestock and semi-trailer manufacturing, is pleased to announce that it has replaced all of its welding equipment with new Lincoln Electric Power Wave platform utilizing the latest pulse welding technology.

“Barrett Trailers has had a reputation for manufacturing very durable trailers since we started in 1973,” said General Manager Chris Sipe. “Despite the durability of our trailers being unmatched in the livestock trailer industry, the industry is also now demanding a better fit and finish. It was time for our welds to be as attractive as they are durable. This platform will also allow us to take advantage of Lincoln's Weld Score and production monitoring technologies to help take our quality program to the next level. This upgrade cost over $300,000 to complete but will allow us to grow our business through our dealer network.”

Barrett Trailers, owned by Stoughton Trailers, is a leading manufacturer of the highest-quality, all-aluminum livestock trailers on the American market. Located in Purcell, Okla., Barrett specializes in gooseneck and ground load trailers as well as semi-trailers for transporting hogs and cattle. The company challenges the industry with products valued for their design, craftsmanship and performance, and prides itself on meeting customer demands for quality, value and safety.
