6 Graduates Receive Wahlin Foundation Scholarships

May 30, 2017

Each year, the Wahlin Foundation — a private, charitable foundation owned by the Wahlin family, which also owns STI Holdings and Stoughton Trailers — issues scholarships to high school graduates in the communities where the companies have offices and production facilities. This year, the Foundation granted $12,000 in scholarship funds to graduates from Stoughton High School, Brodhead High School and Evansville High School. One scholarship in each community goes to a graduate attending technical college, and one from each community goes to graduates attending a four-year college.

At Stoughton High School, senior Michael Church received $1,000 to pursue a biotechnician associate degree at Madison College and senior Adam McCune received $3,000 to attend University of Minnesota–Twin Cities to study computer engineering. At Brodhead High School and Evansville High School, two graduates from each received scholarships for technical college and four-year colleges.

The Foundation and Stoughton Trailers congratulate all graduating seniors in the communities where we do business, and wish them a bright future!
