Q. DO I NEED A USER ID AND PASSWORD?

A. Login access is only granted to Authorized Dealers and Distributors with accounts in good standing. You will need a User ID and Password if you want to place orders, check pricing, check stock, look up VIN’s, or check backorder status. You will not need it to look at our stock run schedule, online catalog and other resources.

Q. HOW DO I GET A USER ID AND PASSWORD?

A. Fill out a request under “Contact Us” letting us know what you would like your User ID to be (no dashes or spaces) and the password. We will email you when it’s complete.

Q. HOW CAN I TELL IF STOUGHTON HAS RECEIVED AND PROCESSED MY ORDER OR LOOK UP THE STATUS OF A CURRENT ORDER?

A. Click on Search Orders under Lookup & Tracking and search by Order #, Invoice # or PO# or all orders placed in the last 90 days. If you do not see the order listed there, we haven’t received it. There may be a delay displaying Drop Ship orders. NOTE - The full order # including the zeroes must be entered.

Q. HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF SOMETHING THAT WAS BACKORDERED?

A. Click on Search Orders under Lookup & Tracking.

Q. I PLACED A UPS ORDER, AND NEED TRACKING INFORMATION AND SHIPPING CHARGES. IS THAT INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE?

A. Tracking is available by 4pm the day after the shipment. Freight charges are on the invoice. To receive a copy of the invoice, click on Lookup & Tracking. 

Q. DO YOU HAVE VIN/SERIAL NUMBER INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE? HOW CAN I FIND IT?

A. Yes and we’re continually expanding the information in this database. Click on “Shop”, “Stock Products” and search in the VIN# field. For a 16 digit VIN, type in the first 6 of the last 8 digits, for an 18 digit VIN, type in the first 6 of the last 10 digits.

Q. HOW DO I LOOK UP AN ITEM NUMBER AND CHECK PRICE AND INVENTORY?

A. After logging in, click on “Shop”. Here you can shop by “Stock Products” that would ship from the Stoughton PDC or “Drop Ship Products”. You have several options to search for an item under “Stock Products” including keyword, item # or by VIN#. The search results will return our offering and include Part Number, Item Description, Price, Quantity Price Breaks if available, Current On-Hand Inventory and Pipeline Quantity we have coming in.

Q. HOW DO I PLACE A DROP SHIP ORDER?

A. After logging in, click on “Shop” and select “Drop Ship Products”. Choose the vendor/brand of the item(s) you’re looking for. Here you may search by a Keyword or the Vendor Item #. You may also choose to click on “View All” and see the complete list of items available from that vendor. The Terms & Conditions for the specific vendor related to drop ship requirements is also listed for reference.

 

Q. CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER?

A. As a valued Stoughton Parts Sales customer, we strive to do our best to provide best-in-class service. We want to make sure your order pick up is as efficient as possible to

minimize your wait time. Our updated procedure and timeline is below.

1.       Customer Pick Up orders placed by 4pm will be ready for pick up after 7am the following business day. Orders may be picked up between 7am and 4pm CST

2.       If you need to place a same-day pick up order, call or email the Inside Sales Tech team to ensure order receipt and inventory. We will commit to having the order ready within 4 hours. Same day order cut off is Noon.
